At the same time, leaner components and unnecessary materials make a positive contribution to the climate and the environment. We call this principle "economic ecology".

We see a great deal of leverage in optimal component design within the Standards or even beyond with the help of product and project-specific considerations. In addition, the substitution of raw and construction materials in favor of more sustainable variants plays a major role, such as reducing the cement content of our concretes by using other reactive concrete additives
