Bögl composite girders

Bögl composite girders meet the requirements of modern bridge construction like few other systems. The use of steel and concrete to suit the materials and loads, combined with a high degree of prefabrication, makes it possible to realize bridge superstructures quickly and economically. Large spans can be bridged with low weights and easy-to-handle assembly shots at reasonable construction heights and without the need for falsework.

The Max Bögl Group offers composite beams as holistic systems manufactured in-house. In the company's own production facilities for steel construction and prefabricated parts, quality and process-optimized production is carried out, including the associated design consultation and planning. Depending on the situation, transportation to the construction site can be carried out using the company's own vehicles, by rail or by water. On request, our specialists can also assemble the beams.

Our customers increasingly appreciate the benefits of this all-round carefree package, which frees them up to tackle other construction challenges.

Steel construction production

Steel beams with open and closed cross-sections weighing up to 130 tons are manufactured in our production halls using state-of-the-art production technologies. Automated, CAD-based cutting systems allow cuts to be made with the highest precision. Our certified production enables the processing of steels with a grade of up to S690 as well as weather-resistant structural steels, which do not require any further corrosion protection due to their special alloy content. Coordinated quality controls in all manufacturing steps ensure a consistently high production standard and on-time implementation of projects

Corrosion protection

In our modern blasting and coating facility, steel structures can be permanently protected against corrosion using various coatings. According to customer requirements, additional protection can be achieved by applying a spray galvanizing, which significantly extends the service life of components. Cost-intensive renovation measures during the service life of a structure are thus avoided. Long service life Corrosion protection The coating work is permanently monitored by our specialist personnel with a KOR certificate and by coating inspectors. This ensures high-quality corrosion protection of the components. All coating halls are heated and are subject to automatic temperature recording for coating documentation to ensure consistently high quality. The use of coating materials with a reduced solvent content is possible on request. State-of-the-art extraction systems make it possible to reduce emissions to a minimum for people and the environment.

Precast plant

The concrete flange is completed in our precast production facility. Production is based on the know-how and experience of several decades in concrete technology. Our in-house concrete laboratory continuously develops concrete recipes specifically for composite beams. According to customer requirements, concrete strengths of up to C100/115 can be realized and special CO2-reduced concretes can be used. Continuous monitoring of the production process and in-process deformation control ensure the highest quality requirements. Once the composite beam has been completed, drainage pipes can be installed in the factory.

Transportation

Our in-house logistics company is available for the transport of composite beams with a length of up to 55 meters. This enables us to coordinate all transport requirements at an early stage. Heavy-duty combinations with a maximum transport weight of 120 tons and transport combinations with a maximum transport weight of 78 tons can be used for road transport. A direct rail connection on the production site and a nearby landing stage on the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal offer further options for effective transportation. In addition to planning, our service also includes obtaining all the necessary permits and acceptance documents. This ensures just-in-time delivery of the composite beams to the desired location.
