maxmodul - Innovation through flexibility and sustainability in modular construction
Sustainability in modular construction through innovation and flexibility. Our reusable modules are optimized in terms of component cross-sections and module dimensions and enable serial prefabrication with high and consistent quality and short production and assembly times.
We are committed to sustainability in every phase of our construction process. Our reusable modules are therefore optimized in terms of component cross-sections and module dimensions (width: 3.18 m, length: 6.36 m - 7.15 m, height: 3.15 m - 3.55 m). The room modules are made of high-strength C50/60 environmental concrete. This minimizes the consumption of raw materials and ensures a considerable longevity of 300 years, as well as providing far more valuable living space than conventional construction methods with the same floor area.
The energy for production comes from renewable sources such as wind power and photovoltaics. By manufacturing the component cross-sections in series, we reduce the use of resources by up to 70 % and cut material waste by 50 %. At the same time, we offer our employees optimum working conditions. The ready-to-occupy modular solid construction supports recycling and enables the recovery of up to 98% of valuable materials such as cement, steel, cables and piping.
Our commitment to sustainability is confirmed by an independent report from LCEE Life Cycle Engineering Experts GmbH. The CO2 balance of our "maxmodul" building system shows significant savings compared to conventional construction methods, taking into account the factors of domestic production, local raw material extraction and recycling of the buildings.
