Value management

    The Max Bögl Group has been a member of Ethikmanagement der Bauwirtschaft e.V. (EMB ) since the beginning of 2007 and supports the idea of working in partnership with business partners and fair behavior in competition. Max Bögl has developed its own value management system, which has been audited since the end of April 2007. With its declaration of basic values, Max Bögl's value management reflects the principles and values of the company and contains mandatory principles of conduct to be observed.

    1. declaration of basic values

    It is our fundamental philosophy to generate orders through service diversity and performance orientation at market prices. Above all, we reject all forms of corruption and illegal employment and take action against them. We want to achieve our business goals with ethically acceptable practices. The following basic values apply to us:

    • Tradition and loyalty
    • Diversity and performance orientation
    • Cooperation and openness
    • Integrity and honesty
    • For us, integrity means uprightness, compliance with the law and honest behavior

    2. principles of conduct

    We want to protect our employees from unethical behavior and act as a fair contractual partner towards all business partners and clients. In this respect, we have drawn up the following principles of conduct based on our core values, which must be observed by all employees at all hierarchical levels:

    • Compliance with the law is expected in the project business. Violations, in particular of the law against restraints of competition, antitrust law and criminal law with regard to corruption and excessive commission payments, will be punished.
    • Loyalty to company interests is expected of all employees with regard to the economical and careful handling of company property. Business secrets are to be protected as intellectual property - including those of our business partners.
    • Mixing private and business matters is not tolerated and conflicts of interest must be avoided.
    • Gifts and gratuities must neither influence nor be obligatory. The principles of appropriateness, transparency and documentation apply here.

    In case of doubt, the line manager or higher-level head of department must always be consulted and violations must be reported to the relevant management level. In addition to criminal and liability consequences, additional disciplinary measures - up to and including dismissal - are to be expected in the event of a breach. Partner Johann Bögl acts as the contact person for the management.
