Since 2020, the Max Bögl Group and its Chinese partner SDH / Xinzhu have been operating a 3.5-kilometer-long maglev line of the TSB in Chengdu. After Minister President Dr. Markus Söder visited the line at the main site in Sengenthal at the end of last year, he now got a first-hand impression of the Chinese version. During a ride, he was able to see for himself the high level of ride comfort and, when passing by the platform, the low noise emissions even at higher speeds.

After the ride, Dr. Markus Söder commented on his impressions on social media:

"This is particularly interesting for local transport in urban areas. In Bavaria, too, we continue to have the confidence to undertake such highly innovative projects and are embarking on the feasibility study for a maglev train in Nuremberg."

CEO Stefan Bögl:

"We are particularly pleased that our Minister President is supporting Transport System Bögl for the first application lines in both China and Germany."

The delegation also visited the control center of the fully automated transport system on the route. There, the Minister President was able to make the vehicle hover at the touch of a button.

Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder's visit to Sichuan Province underlines the close economic ties between China and Bavaria. The Minister President also emphasized this in his speech on the platform of the TSB, praising the cooperation between the Max Bögl Group and its partner SDH / Xinzhu in Chengdu as a very successful example.
